

David Fillers has lived in Wells County with his wife and three sons for most of
his life. He graduated from Norwell High in 1982, where he was a member of the
varsity wrestling team and football team. He continued his education and earned
a degree in Criminal Justice from IPFW graduating in 1992. David Fillers went
on to serve
in the Army National Guard, first as an enlisted soldier, and then as an
officer. His duties included command of a company sized unit and service as a
helicopter pilot. He was the highest producing interdiction pilot from 1991 to
1993 during the War on Drugs working in close cooperation with the Indiana State
police and other local law enforcement departments. He is currently employed as
the VP of Operations with Alliance Games Distributors, a division of Diamond
Comics Distributors. He also owns several local businesses; 21st Century
Firearms, Stateside Powersports, Stateside Caskets, and BBK Properties.
